Participant Feedback

  • “Walking through the examples in small groups was valuable. It gave me the confidence to say something when I might not have in the full group, and getting feedback was really helpful.”

  • “Helpful to get specific frameworks to think about when breaking down microaggressions and how to intervene, and good to discuss in breakout groups.”

  • “Sharing in the affinity groups was so much more helpful than I expected (I thought it was going to be awful!).”

  • “Michael and Viva hold a thoughtful and productive space for people to learn, process, and correct. I've been in spaces that seem to exacerbate the issues and make them feel heavier, so I particularly appreciate the focus on joy and connection without diminishing the heaviness and the gravity of the issues. The most valuable thing, beyond the quality of the space, was the good questions and thoughtful prompts.”

  • “The most valuable part of the session was encouraging the participant to question their positioning in the world and how that impacts others around them in the workplace.”

  • “The tangible tools and frameworks were a standout highlight. It makes something scary feel so easy. There was also great engagement via chat and off-mute, which made the work feel even more valuable.”

  • “I really appreciated the candidness with which Viva and Michael talk about power dynamics and how the role-playing scenarios flesh this out.”

  • “I love the thoughtful guidance (what you showed on the slide) and that role plays DO WORK! The experience of being in the feedback session was really helpful.”

  • “As a leadership team member, this was great to see my own growth and perspective changes and re-energized around all the positive impacts this will have as we work together.”
